On August 2000 the investigation titled “Elicina snail cream application on skin grafts and scars due to burns” was published in an
Occupational Therapy Journal by the Occupational THERAPY Unit of the Corporation for the Help of the Burnt Child COANIQUEM
that was carried out from August 1999 to March 2000. A clinically controlled, double blind study was performed comparing the effects
of Elicina versus Novo base of a total population of 36 patients, of which half used Elicina and the other half Novo base.
Elicina showed remarkable results regarding reducing pigmentation (77.7%excellent results), texture (11.1% excellent results)
and thickness (27.7% excellent results), with no side effects. Elicina was therefore considered an excellent support therapy in
the treatment of recent burn scars and grafts.

Since the year 2000 we have been providing Elicina to COANIQUEM for the treatment of their patients.
